Girls Leadership Collaborative

2026 Summer Camp for Girls in Grades 3rd - 8th

Engaging experiences designed to challenge girls to practice self-expression and productive risk-taking.

Using brain-based research-driven short micro-sessions, girls learn the neurobiology and drivers of decision-making, risk-taking, and blindspots. This camp welcomes returning girls and those new to GLC in grades 3 through 8.

GLC's Immersive Summer Experience Includes Our Signature Elements:

High and Low Ropes Course

Facilitated using a challenge-by-choice lets girls identify for themselves their own limits and examine their response to stress or fear in a safe and supportive environment. While FUN and connectedness are achieved, we use this experience as a teaching tool and reference point throughout the week.

Gallup's Strengths-Explorer

Since 2014, we have used the Strengths-Explorer and Finder tools to safely explore naming, leveraging, and reflecting on their strengths. The assessment reveals their ‘natural-neutral’ or skills and mindsets they bring most easily to any situation. We help them hone and grow these to lead themselves and others.

Fun Group Challenges

Leveraging our strengths in the context of group challenges we examine theories & phenomena behind human interaction, collaboration, and developing effective teams. Games, challenges, creative arts, & movement are perfect contexts to examine these and receive immediate feedback in the real-time - optimizing the learning loop.

With a focus on FUN, we will build critical skills, confidence, and connectedness.

Our Signature GLC Summer Camp experience provides girls with the opportunity to select from a variety of themes that interest them related to leadership such as: public speaking, design-thinking challenges, our signature game-changer speaker series, yoga and mindfulness work, environmental or social activism, designing service learning opportunities, and outcome-oriented conflict resolution techniques.
