Girls Leadership Collaborative (GLC) is a Rhode Island–based social enterprise dedicated to equipping tomorrow’s leaders with the skills, mindsets, networks, and real-world experiences needed to work on challenges that matter.
Through research-based, experiential programming, GLC empowers girls to uncover their strengths, practice courageous leadership, and collaborate purposefully in service of their communities and the world. By engaging in meaningful projects, reflective practice, and developmentally appropriate risk-taking—where failure is embraced as a powerful teacher—girls build agency, deepen self-awareness, and learn to lead ethically, inclusively, and impactfully in real time.

Our Story
Girls Leadership Collaborative (GLC) was developed to provide emerging leaders with the experiences necessary to uncover their strengths, explore their interests, examine how and why they interact with others in group settings, and create purpose and fulfillment to positively impact their communities, a cause, or the world. GLC provides the necessary practice engaging in safe and developmentally appropriate risk taking as participants develop as leaders; girls who can and do take initiative.
